Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Hard Earned Hoops collects through this website, why we collect it, and how it is handled. It applies to the enquiry form and to direct contact by phone, text, email or Instagram.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. Through the enquiry form that may include the enquirer's role, a parent or guardian name, an athlete's first name, age or grade, playing level, program of interest, goals, preferred area, general availability, phone number, email address, preferred reply method, and any message you write.
Children's information
Enquiries about an athlete under 18 must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. We ask for an athlete's first name only, and we ask families not to send medical records, diagnoses, injury details, school records or other sensitive information about a child through this website.
If you believe a child's information has been submitted without guardian permission, contact us and we will delete it.
How we use it
Information is used to respond to your enquiry, to understand what an athlete needs, and to arrange training. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Text messages
Text message consent is optional and never pre-selected. If you opt in, we may text you about your enquiry. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Declining SMS does not affect your enquiry.
Storage and security
Enquiries are stored in a secure database that only Hard Earned Hoops can read. Website visitors cannot read, edit or delete submitted enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information.
Retention
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our communication with a family, then delete them when they are no longer needed.
Analytics
Google Tag Manager is installed to manage privacy-conscious analytics. Google Analytics will only receive aggregate page-view and interaction events after you choose Allow analytics and after an authorized owner configures and publishes the required Google Analytics tag. Advertising, remarketing and ad-personalization storage remain disabled.
Analytics events may include the page path and title, a controlled public program name, the location of a link on the page, and whether a call, text, email, Instagram, enquiry or contact-prompt action occurred. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, enquiry messages, athlete information, medical information and database record identifiers are not included.
You can allow or reject non-essential analytics when asked, and change that choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not prevent the enquiry form or essential security controls from working. The Google Analytics retention period has not yet been selected and remains an owner configuration item.
Your choices
